SOME of us like to get away from the computer while we can. Especially when we have two weeks off of work. (Sorry Troy, GOSH!)Before Christmas, spent a lot of time running around. After Christmas, read and went to the Sports Academy a bunch (I'm mad for the steam room). Over the entire time, tended a very sweet golden retriever. Hung out with friends (RZA, Wolfe, Cold Neck) and family.
Family gave me a lot of cooking supplies (books, equipment, etc.) for Christmas. They have in years past too, and I'm only now starting to get the hint--(sometimes I'm not too quick on the uptake). (Too bad you're not around, Elicia, to be a better influence on me.)
Star's Solstice party was one of my favorite parts of the break. Good food, good drink, good company. Relaxed and cozy.
I also loved the extra time I had for playing with six-tooth Welly and for playing Scrabble.
