My family apparently wants me to sport checkered aprons

SOME of us like to get away from the computer while we can. Especially when we have two weeks off of work. (Sorry Troy, GOSH!)

Before Christmas, spent a lot of time running around. After Christmas, read and went to the Sports Academy a bunch (I'm mad for the steam room). Over the entire time, tended a very sweet golden retriever. Hung out with friends (RZA, Wolfe, Cold Neck) and family.

Family gave me a lot of cooking supplies (books, equipment, etc.) for Christmas. They have in years past too, and I'm only now starting to get the hint--(sometimes I'm not too quick on the uptake). (Too bad you're not around, Elicia, to be a better influence on me.)

Star's Solstice party was one of my favorite parts of the break. Good food, good drink, good company. Relaxed and cozy.
I also loved the extra time I had for playing with six-tooth Welly and for playing Scrabble.
