Logan's best hangout, the Citrus & Sage, closed this weekend. I spent a lot of time at this book and coffee shop, as it was the venue for the Helicon West readings, as well as my weekly poetry group meetings. I also went to many jazz combo concerts there, and would meet friends for Scrabble. Logan has almost no cool places to chill (stupid Logan!); I hate to see the Citrus & Sage go. Sure, we still have the Ibis, but it doesn't feel as homey. And NOW where are we going to have Helicon West? I wish I could buy the C&S to keep it going, but I don't have $400 K. :( Sigh.

Why did it close?! So sad right now...I will miss those jazz nights that I rarely went to, but loved each time I did. Remember how much fun Sadie had kicking me in the ribs to the beat a week before she was born...sigh...
The owners moved to California for another business opportunity.
darn! that sounds like fun hanging out there and all! hey, maybe when i open my restaurant, it can be a cool hang out! do you think i can make it work?
This was definitely one of my fav places in Logan...esp. b/c I spent a lot of time there with a super cool person--yeah, YOU! Maybe when I win the lottery we can re-open it!
hmm, never been. but would definitely make a cute house.
You must have not been buying enough books there.
