- Now, to leave this strained conceit –
Some of the best parts of my long weekend in Arizona included (see non-clicky links below, sorry): visiting the Chapel of the Holy Cross, seeing my first moon dog (example pictured above), hiking in red dirt in search of energy vortexes, playing board games with my travelling companions, and watching ravens, who are as common there as crows are in Utah. Yes, the Grand Canyon was cool, too (“It just keeps going!!”), but I was somehow more impressed with the mountainous shortcut between Sedona and Flagstaff and also the humble village of Jacob Lake.

too fun, wish i could get out of here for a while! hope the drive back wasn't too slippery.
I liked Sedona too. A little freaky at times, but it's pretty all the same.
Did you go out to the UFO?
Was it warm there this time of year?
Camping or hotel?
How was the ride home?!?!?!
Can't wait to see pictures sis! And thanks for all the updates...=)
Carrie, you are a classy lady. These are words that leave drool marks on a readers chin.
Sedona is a place that I would like to experience....uh.... well.... ok, I'm just gonna say it - HIGH! I mean, it seems pretty cool as-is but come on - bein' a little buzzed down there would have to be a hoot!
Sounds like you had a cool trip (no pun intended).
What's kinda "trippy" is that our lives seem to be in some sort of parallel-ish-ness. We also bought a house....have to clean our rental (way behind on that) and we went on vacation, too. Craziness. I hope you post more pics from your trip! Sounded like fun!
