Gretchen ROX for helping me plant this year's garden. She's quite good with a hoe and knows all about industrial bags of steer poo. In the plot G is standing in, we put in zucchini, pumpkin, and spaghetti squash (mm!). In the plot in which I am getting cozy, we put in tomato, eggplant, green pepper, and brussels sprouts. Featured by my face is a single carrot that overwintered from last year. I am pretty proud of Little Carroty. I will read him bedtime stories and buy him new socks. Gardening is so fun!! After all our hard work, we made some fresh-squeezed lemonade, a bunch of which I used to stickify the kitchen floor.

You are so awesome, Carrie. I can't even organize myself to think about putting in a garden - and I would really love one. I just have NO green thumbs. I suck at gardening.
