Well, the inspector found termites yesterday, and some scary electrical/fire hazards. All the piping will have to be replaced too, as it is the old kind and is corroding. I'm sad. But of course, I would be more sad if I had bought the house and was stuck into a money pit. I'm very much NOT sad that I won't have to deal with all that paperwork right now. So! The search continues!
