Be glad I don't post often

The rats have not eaten me but my weekly routine is so dull that I avoid, for your sake, posting. I'm sure you don't want to hear about what I spend most of my time doing: staring at pixels and clicking a mouse, hanging out with Gretchen, watching TV/movies, inviting myself over to people's houses, playing with rats...

I am desparate for an out-of-Utah vacation, however, and if I do undertake such a thing, you will be sure to hear about it.

I have also been putting out a lot of submissions to literary journals, as it is the time of year for it. It's very unlikely that one of my pieces will get picked up for publication, but in the event that one does, you will surely get the news.

And finally, I've just about given up on the house-hunt. I don't want to buy a house now; I don't want to be tied down. I'm lately fantisizing about 6 months as a drifter--stateside, Europe, or India.

have one of the rats turned out to be female and you have lots of babies on your hands? that would be cute.

I still post & I'm more boring than you by far! All I do is stay at home, change dirty diapers, rock a little crying pink thing, and feed it every few hours...=)

I vote for Europe! Can I come in your suitcase?

If you go to India for six months, that may sever our friendship. I don't know if I could handle the jealousy! :-)

Good luck with the publications! That would be AWESOME!!

Just what does "Hobo Soup" taste like anyway?

Keep trying rats!

I asked Maceys to get some hobo soup in (they have a suggestion box), ever since I saw it on thesneeze.com I've wanted to try it (he gives it good marks for taste and label design :). Hopefully Maceys will one day call me to let me know they have ordered a case so I can finally fulfill my dream of trying some hobo soup...

Hey Carrie, is Colorado far enough outside of Utah for a trip? We'd love to have you!

Carrie, just a THOT here. You have a block of time at Christmas. You have family in North Carolina, Washington State, or near the capitol - Washington D.C. (your fun first cousin, Janet), Idaho and Colorado, southern California, and Arizona, Nevada. If you wanted to go to San Francisco I bet Liz would go and you could stay at Lori's.

Bum around India for a while. I heard any way that next year, is THE year to buy!

I am a little envious. It's not like I can just go to India or Europe on a whim. Go Carrie!!!
